At about 4:30 pm on Monday, 20 Feb, two SUVs collided in the suburb of Narrabeen. Emergency responders reached the accident scene on Wakehurst Parkway where two cars had collided head-on, causing severe damage. They discovered a 31-year-old woman unconscious in one of the vehicles. Despite paramedics trying CPR, she couldn’t be revived and was pronounced dead on the spot.
Information about the deceased is not available as of now, as the family members are in deep shock and trying hard to accept the news.
The driver of the second car, a 51-year-old man, suffered no harm in the collision, but he had to go to the hospital for medical tests. Investigating what occurred at the scene of the incident was the first task for the police. The collision happened on Monday in Sydney during a strong storm that featured lightning; the poor visibility and hazardous roadway conditions may have contributed to the incident.
Two SUVs crashed on a bridge over Middle Creek while following a curve, according to the Northern Beaches Advocate. The collision happened rather quickly. This is the 49th fatality in New South Wales related to traffic this year.
