Max’s sudden passing was confirmed in a heartfelt Facebook post that stated, “Last weekend was fun racing with Max Soti.” It’s sad to learn how his life was cut short. I’m sorry about his family.
While further information about the accident is yet unknown, the tragedy has had a profound impact on everyone who knew and appreciated Max.
Despite his young age, Max had an extraordinary talent for motocross. He showed exceptional talent and agility on the course, handling difficult terrain with great confidence. His efforts drew considerable acclaim from fellow riders and onlookers. Max’s enthusiasm for motocross was evident in every race and practice session, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to excellence and unwavering resolve to perfect the sport he loved. Beyond his impressive achievements in motocross, Max was known for his infectious enthusiasm and positive attitude. He inspired many young riders to pursue their passions with the same passion and determination. His friendly and supportive personality made him a popular character both on and off the racetrack.
Max was a cherished member of the family. He is survived by his loving parents, Matthew and Lauren Soti, his older sister, Madison Soti, and his loving grandparents. Max’s close-knit family provided him with strength and support, as evidenced by the way they gathered around him during motocross contests and other activities. Max’s grandfather, Scott P. Soti, who died before him, must have greeted him warmly in the afterlife.

Max Matthew Soti, 12, of Plano, Illinois, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was born on May 3, 2012, in Aurora, Illinois, to Matthew and Lauren Soti. Max was a motocross enthusiast who will be known as #56 for all time. He was an amazing boy with determination in everything he did and will always be in our hearts.
He was the best annoying little brother Madison could possibly have, and his grandparents, uncles, and cousins adored him.
Max is survived by his loving parents, his older sister Madison Soti, and his adoring grandparents. He was received by his grandfather, Scott P. Soti.
