February 1, 2024, a young resident of Leslie Land. Castries, Jeannakim Tibrune, lost their life in a devastating road accident on the Dennery Highway.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. in the La Caye section of the Dennery Highway, an unexpected incident unfolded. Jeannakim Tibrune was one of seven passengers on a truck that swerved off course while traveling southward. The details surrounding the mishap are presently under the local authorities. The reason behind the accident is unknown till now, general public will be informed as soon as more information becomes available.
Unfortunately, Jeannakim Tibrune was the only fatality among the passengers, while the driver and five others sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and are currently receiving medical attention at OKEU Hospital.
