At around 4.20 p.m. on Monday, February 26, emergency services were called to Dransfield Way, near Coronation Avenue, in Bath.
Emergency personnel found a 24-year-old girl who had injuries on her head and neck from a knife when they arrived at the site. She received prompt medical attention on Ivy Avenue. After receiving first care, she was quickly taken to Bristol’s Southmead Hospital. Her health is listed as critical but stable as of today (Tuesday), indicating continued medical attention and observation. The Avon and Somerset Police have reached out to her family, providing them with the necessary support and information.
The family is currently going through a difficult time and is requesting privacy regarding any details concerning the girl involved. They are deeply shocked and need time to process what has happened before they can share any further information with the public.
Arrest Made
A 28-year-old guy was taken into custody right where everything happened, suspected of trying to commit murder. He’s currently being held for questioning by the authorities.
