On Wednesday afternoon, tragedy struck when Keyla Diaz, 31, was involved in a fatal collision with a semi-truck carrying an oversized load. The collision happened on Route 76 at approximately 2:55 p.m. According to reports from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Diaz collided with the approaching semi-truck when she went past the center line while driving her Toyota Rav4 SUV northward.
