Melbourne teen Kye Duclos was leaving for home around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 16. Unfortunately, it is believed that he did not use the authorized pedestrian crossing at Police Rd and Hansworth St in Mulgrave. He tragically passed away at the site after being hit by a car as a result.
While their son was receiving assistance from emergency teams and an off-duty paramedic, Mum and Dad rushed to be with him. Their best effort was to keep Kye alive. Sadly, Kye’s heart stopped shortly after he was flown to the hospital by helicopter, and he passed very rapidly.
Kye was 12 years old more personal details are not available, as both mother and father were deeply affected by the incident and are not ready to publicly disclose anything as of now.
