Lisa Lopez-Galvan, Mother of Two, Shot at Kansas City Chiefs Parade

On Wednesday, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who was a popular radio personality and DJ at KKFI, lost her life during the fatal shooting at the Chiefs Celebration Conclusion parade. To make things even more heartbreaking, her adult son and nephew were also shot and survived a few injuries. Lisa was someone who was widely known and loved in the Kansas City community. The Kansas City Star was informed by Lopez-Galvan’s friends that she had passed away. According to the report, she died while undergoing surgery after being shot in the stomach.

Shooting erupted on the west side of the city’s Union Station right after a celebration for the Chiefs, who had just won the Super Bowl on Sunday. The motive behind this fatal shooting is still unclear to authorities.
