Rapper and actor ‘Dead Dawg’ Pablo Grant dies aged 26

Sunday evening we marked the unexpected passing of the German sensation affectionately called Dead Dawg, reportedly due to thrombosis. Berlin’s rap collective, BHZ, shared the saddening news, leaving fans mourning the loss of the talented artist.

The group posted a monochrome picture of Pablo and the message: “A statement from the family. Pablo Grant, the talented artist, actor, musician, and member of BHZ, passed away suddenly on February 6th at the young age of 26 due to a thrombosis.”

Thrombosis, a grave medical concern, occurs when blood clots develop within blood vessels, potentially leading to severe health risks. This condition often arises from factors such as surgical procedures causing vein damage, inflammation, or trauma resulting from infections or injuries.

Early Life

Pablo, born in Berlin in 1997, ventured into acting by attending Transform acting school in Berlin in 2017. His big break came with his role as Bino in the third installment of the Bibi and Tina series, titled Bibi & Tina: Girls Against Boys, hitting German cinemas in January 2016. In the past year, he took on the main character in an episode of the TV show “In Aller Friendship.” Additionally, he showcased his musical talents by dropping his solo album “Dunklschwarz” in 2019.

Tours Cancelled

BHZ, the rap duo, recently called off their upcoming tour, just days before it was scheduled to kick off on February 8th. Without offering alternative dates, they cited unforeseen illness-related circumstances as the reason for the cancellation. The tour, which was supposed to commence in Vienna and conclude on March 1st in Berlin, now hangs in uncertainty.

Family Mourns

The departed loved ones are deeply saddened and kindly request privacy during this challenging period until they are ready to communicate further. They express gratitude to all the supporters who have been part of Pablo’s artistic journey throughout the years.
